"Elvis" at Sunnyvale's Senior Center (June 2010)

Elvis LIVES! He was spotted at Sunnyvale's Senior Center on June 11, 2010, as part of the "Coming Fully Alive As You Age – Music series". (Can you believe that Elvis turned 75 this year?) Elvis put on a big competition, playing old songs and seeing who of the 120 people could guess the artist(s).


"Listening to Legacies" (2009)

The Senior New Ways monthly cable television program, "Senior New Ways Presents," aired from 2007 through 2009 with former Executive Director Judith Pruess-Mellow as the host.  The program on "Listening to Legacies" aired in 2009, in which Senior New Ways teacher Susan Harlan and current Executive Director John Lehman are interviewed. A Senior New Ways monthly cable television program that aired in September 2008, "Who Sang It?," was one of three finalists for the western U.S. for the WAVE awards in 2008 as presented by the Academy of Wireless Arts, Video and Entertainment, given to productions of community media centers.  In this program, current Senior New Ways Executive Director John Lehman is interviewed about his life and his lifelong passion for music.  In the interview, John plays snippets of songs and listeners guess the vocalists. John has presented at our Senior Health Chats, community senior centers and other sites. This program is available on the Internet at www.blip.tv.
